Foxy Originals, one of the last jewelry manufacturers in Canada, is showing their support for Vancouver’s Winter Games by creating one-of-a-kind fuchsia maple leaf necklaces and earrings in their Scarborough warehouse.

“Foxy Originals has always been proudly Canadian, so it’s the perfect fit to have created these unique pieces in support of this amazing moment in Canada’s history,” said Jen Kluger, co-owner of Foxy Originals, in a press release posted on their website.  “It’s great to be able to provide our customers with this stylish way to show their spirit as they cheer Canada on.”

The touch of femininity helps to create an every day look women can wear while showing their patriotism and support for the athletes.  All pieces cost $25 dollars and may be purchased online, with  half the proceeds going to the Canadian Association for Advancement of Women and Sport (CAAWS).

CAAWS mission is to get more women involved in sports and to ensure that they are afforded the same opportunities as male athletes.

“We like to cater to our customers and CAAWS represents women, which make up most of our customers,” Suzie Orol, owner of Foxy Originals said.  In the recent weeks, Foxy Originals has seen great success in online sales and wishes to continue selling the products after the Winter Games.

“Keep checking our website for updates,” Orol said.  “We are constantly designing pieces for various charities and organizations.”
