Ward 35: Michelle Berardinetti beats out Adrian Heaps

With their candidate taking over the vote, cheering supporters filled Michelle Berardinetti’s campaign office on Warden Ave. tonight.

Berardinetti defeated veteran councillor Adrian Heaps, who took only about 36 per cent of the vote, according to results one our after polls closed.

“It’s great, it’s really good and I’m humbled by winning all this support from the community,” Berardinetti said.

The first action she is going take is knock on everyone’s doors and thank them for voting for her, she said.
