Ward 37: Michael Thompson to return for another term

Winning a clear majority, Ward 37  incumbent Michael Thompson is back on council for another four years.

“We see by the results here tonight that this community understands what needs to be done,” Thompson said. “I know almost everyone in this room and it’s very humbling to have their support.”

With over 80 per cent of the votes, Thompson beat challengers Isabelle Champagne, Fawzi Bidawi and Sergio Otoya Salazar.
