Suspect in 2007 murder surrenders in South Korea

A suspect in the 2007 murder of Khong Duy Nguyen, 33, has surrendered to South Korean authorities.

Sang-Woo Ye, 29, was arrested on Oct. 27 and is awaiting an extradition hearing, Toronto police said.

On May 9, 2007, Toronto EMS called police about a shooting victim at an ambulance station on Sheppard Avenue East.

Four other men have been arrested in connection to the shooting.

Brian Linh Nguyen, Gunil (Tony) Yang, Viet Cong Dao and Brian Jungick Lee, all of Toronto, face first-degree murder charges.
