Police “have no idea” what killed a Scarborough man and sent three emergency responders to hospital Sunday.

But according to reports, the cause may have been exposure to chemical fumes inside a home on Wishing Well Drive near Pharmacy Road and Sheppard Avenue East.

A Toronto police spokesperson said the cause of the death and injuries remains unknown.

“The officers are investigating,” he said.
