Man rescued after fall into 10-metre tank in Scarborough

A man is in stable condition after falling into a 10-metre industrial tank in Scarborough last week.

Police say the man, in his 40s, was working on a construction project Thursday at F.J. Horgan Water Treatment Plant at 210 Copperfield Rd. near Morningside Avenue.

Toronto Fire Services rescued the man using a nearby construction crane, lifting him to safety.

The man was taken to hospital with a possible concussion and broken foot.
