Man arrested after Scarborough sex assault, 2nd man sought

Police have arrested one man and are on the lookout for a second in connection with an alleged sexual assault in Scarborough last week.

At about 3 a.m. on April 12, a 28-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by two men near Kennedy Road and Eglinton Avenue East.

Daniel Leneus, 26, has been charged with sexual assault.

The second man is described as black, in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-5 or 5-foot-6, with a slim build and long black hair pulled back.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 416-808-7474 or contact Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.
