‘Every student counts’ at 6th Scarborough Parent Conference

Award-winning author Eric Walters is set to deliver the keynote address at the sixth annual Scarborough Parent Conference, scheduled for April 30.

According to the Toronto District School Board’s, the dual goals of the conference and its workshops are to support and inform parents. The program’s focus this year is “discussing why every student counts,” according to the TDSB.

Workshops at the conference are set to include bullying, healthy choices, students at risk and successful students, among others.

Walters will be on hand to help motivate parents to getting their kids excited about books.
