Benvenuti e buon appetito.
The 13th annual Taste of Little Italy festival took place June 17-19 on College Street between Bathurst and Shaw streets.
More than 40 restaurants expanded their patios to serve Toronto’s Italians and Italians-at-heart.
“The Taste of Little Italy is a salute to everything that makes this neighbourhood, and really the whole City of Toronto, such a great place to live,” Lenny Lombardi, president of CHIN Radio and chair of Little Italy’s business improvement association, said in a statement.
Visitors to the festival not only got to try the restaurants’ offerings, much of it at reduced prices, but they were also treated to a variety of live music along College Street.
“The Taste of Little Italy allows you to experience a little bit of Italian culture and cuisine,” Lombardi said. “There’s more to see, more to do, and more than enough to eat and drink.”
