Duguid cruises to victory for the third time

Liberal incumbent Brad Duguid took the riding of Scarborough Centre by approximately 4,000 votes over PC candidate Carol Williams.

He claimed 100 out of the 200 polls in the riding. Duguid won the last two elections by nearly 10,000 votes.

Former NDP leader Stephen Lewis held the riding from 1963-1977.

The main contenders in the riding were Williams and Kathleen Mathurin for the NDP.
