PCs’ Shurman squeaks out victory in Thornhill

Progressive Conservative Peter Shurman has retained his Thornhill riding.

The former CFRB 1010 radio host won a tightly contested race over Bernie Farber, the former CEO of the Canadian Jewish Congress, who was running for the Liberals.

Shurman narrowly defeated Farber by just under an estimated five per cent.
