Variety Village, on the corner of Birchmount Ave. and Danforth Rd., was host to the 28th annual Open Taekwondo Championships earlier today.
Participants gathered from countries across the globe to compete in the prestigious event which included an advanced division for Olympic and national competitors.
The event continues Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
