The Scarborough Hospital will be hosting an event as part of a series on March 1, where speakers will be focusing on food’s connection to chronic disease and body image.
The hospital is located at 3050 Lawrence Ave. E., and the event will be held in their auditorium.
Speakers include Dr. George Vertes, TSH cardiologist, Margaret Devor who is a TSH diabetes educator, and Joanna Blanchard, a TSH mental health therapist.
The health fair will be from from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The presentations and question period will start at 7 p.m. and run until about 9:30 p.m.
Healthy snacks prepared by Chef Joshna Maharaj will be provided to attendees.
