A man has been charged following a single-car crash early on Oct. 22 that resulted in a fatality.
Police said a 2012 Porsche drove over a curb at McNicoll Avenue near Birchmount Road and smashed into a tree.
The 20-year-old passenger died at the scene.
The driver, 20-year-old Hongyu Chen suffered minor injuries.
He was charged with dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death and impaired driving causing death. He has also been charged with having a blood alcohol level over zero while driving with a G2 level license.
