Lack of secure funding hampers TTC expansion - The Toronto Observer
TTC riders made their voices heard at a public symposium on public transit on Tuesday. Former Toronto mayoral candidate, Sarah Thomson, is the chair of Toronto Transit Alliance, a group pushing for a one per cent sales tax to provide stable transit funding. Andy Byford, TTC CEO, also attended the event to meet transit users and listen to their concerns.
