Police release video of armed robbery suspects

Toronto police have released security video from an Oct. 8, 2012 armed robbery.

According to a Jan 24, 2013 Toronto police news release, two men entered Snowy Convenience, located at 314 Painted Post Dr., at approximately 6:50 p.m.  One man was armed with what looks like a drywall hammer.  He threw gasoline in the employee’s face and demanded cash.  The second man was armed with a knife, walked behind the counter, removed a quantity of cigarettes and put them in a duffle bag.  Both men then fled.

Police report that the men had concealed their identities.

Police describe the men as:

  • White, 6′ to 6′-3″ tall, with a stocky build and dark hair.  He was wearing a black ski mask, dark sunglasses, black hooded sweater with a grey t-shirt underneath, dark pants and black gloves.
  • White, 5′-7″ to 5′-8″, wearing a black toque, dark sunglasses, black jacket, denim pants and black gloves, carrying a black gym bag.
