Police have released a sketch of a man wanted in connection to a recent sexual assault and are asking the public for help in identifying him.

Police have released this composite sketch of a man wanted in connection to an alleged sexual assault that occurred on Nov. 2 near Corvette and Magnolia avenues in Scarborough.

On Nov. 2 between 8 and 8:30 p.m., a 19-year-old woman walking in the area of Corvette and Magnolia avenues was grabbed from behind by a man, police say.

The man, who police say was armed with a knife, allegedly threw the woman to the ground, punched and sexually assaulted her.

Police describe the man as brown, about 35–40 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 tall with a heavy build, and some stubble-length facial hair. He was wearing a black toque, a black hoodie and eyeglasses, police say.
