Cops arrest man for carrying loaded handgun on TTC bus

Police arrested a man on Nov. 21 at around noon for allegedly carrying a loaded revolver in his pocket on a TTC bus in Malvern.

Police searched the man’s home, where they say they seized narcotics and another loaded revolver.

Darnell Garnes, 18, of Toronto, faces 14 weapons-related charges, including carrying a concealed weapon and two counts of possession of a firearm with its serial number removed.

He also faces charges of methamphetamine possession and methamphetamine possession for the purpose of trafficking.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 29.
