Day two of city of Toronto budget debate 2014: tax increase already approved

Toronto City Council approves tax increase for 2014/David Kennedy Toronto Observer

Despite Mayor Rob Ford and Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti’s efforts to avoid any tax increases for 2014, city council voted Wednesday to raise taxes by 2.23 per cent.

Follow the action today as council responds to news that Mayor Ford is being sued by a jailhouse inmate.
