After-school leader faces child porn charges

Accused worked as camp director in GTA summer camp programs

A man has been arrested on child pornography charges after police searched a home near Highway 401 and Don Mills Road area on Feb. 7.

A second search warrant was made at a business address in the Mount Pleasant Road and Davisville Avenue area, according to police.

A man had published child-abuse images on image-hosting sites and different social networking websites, police said.

The man reportedly worked as an after-school program leader at Thorncliffe Park Public School and Gateway Public School and various summer camp programs.

He was also said to have been employed by Moorelands Community services as the database and website administrator.

Chun Him (Louis) Wong, 25, faces six sex crime charges including possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and making available child pornography.

He appeared in court on Feb. 12, police said.
