A 28-year-old Toronto man has appeared in court, charged with manslaughter, after the death of a 26-year-old woman on March 8.
Police had responded to reports of shooting near St. Dennis Drive and Don Mills Road and found a severely injured woman at the scene.
The woman, identified as Vilanong Douangphachanh, died from her injuries shortly after being found, police say.
Charged is Achint Ranhotra, who was arrested at the scene, police say.
