VIDEO: Blue Jays spring training a big draw for snowbirds

First ever use of instant replay in MLB

Major League Baseball started to use instant replay for questionable calls during the grapefruit league game Monday March 3, between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Minnesota Twins in Florida.  Jays manager John Gibbons was the first person to make the request.

This was one of the highlights for Toronto snowbirds who headed down to Florida to watch their team’s spring training. Toronto Observer’s Beth Jarrell was there.
