Toronto Maple Leafs fans have been pretty loud on Twitter, calling for Jonathan Bernier in the net if he is healthy tonight.
And they’re watching closely to see if they get their wish, as reporters speculate on Twitter leading up to the game.
CBC reporter Simon Dingley said on Twitter today, “Reimer practising at ACC prior to tonight’s game vs. St. Louis. No word if he will start.”
LeafsTV reporter Paul Hendrick’s twitter, “Jonathan Bernier in the home end today at practice. Starter tonight?”
NHL on TSN tweeted, “Bernier looks to be the starter tonight vs. St. Louis. He hasn’t played since March 13th.”
If Beriner is not in the net tonight, then James Reimer will get the start, which will be his sixth straight start, including five straight losses for the Leafs.
