Dangerous medication lost on subway

Police urge public to return drugs if found

A bag of medication has been lost on the subway between Dufferin and Kennedy station, police say.

Stored in a black backpack were 6 phials of methadone and Effexor pills. These medications can be harmful, even fatal, if ingested — especially if by a child.

The police urge anyone who finds the medication not to handle it, but to contact police at (416) 808-4300, or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-8477.
