Welcome to the newest member of the Metro Toronto Zoo. A Western Lowland gorilla family has a new baby but it needs a name. To celebrate the birth, the Zoo has deemed this month as “Ape-ril” and is holding a naming contest. To help name the female gorilla, submit your suggestion to the Toronto Zoo and help raise awareness for endangered species. Toronto Observer’s Vernon Ayiku climbed a tree to bring you this story.
