All assault charges withdrawn from Justin Bieber

Charges stemmed from alleged assault on Toronto limo driver in 2013

Early this morning, pop star Justin Bieber walked out of a Toronto court room a free and happy man.

After a brief appearance with the judge, Bieber’s case was ruled withdrawn based on no reasonable prospect for conviction, meaning there was not enough evidence and the case has been thrown out.

This comes from an incident in December 2013 when a Toronto limo driver claimed that, while escorting Bieber and his party, he was hit by one of the passengers in the limo.

“The Crown would be required to prove that an intentional application of force occurred, as well as who applied that force,” prosecutor David Mitchell told the court.

Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun soon after tweeted:

However, Bieber doesn’t seem fazed as he recently posted a photo to his Instagram account, reconnecting with his Canadian roots at a local Tim Hortons.
