Toronto public school evacuated after gas leaks

Students had to evacuate an East York school for half an hour Wednesday after gas leaks were detected in the building.

Emergency services were called to William Burgess Elementary School after the gas leaks were detected.

The students were relocated to a nearby community centre for over half an hour until school staff was given the all-clear to allow them back.

There were no injuries.
