Foodies on Foot set to host second streetcar food tour

This weekend will be a full one, as Torontonians and tourists alike will get the chance to sample a variety of different ethnic foods on one of the world’s longest surface routes.

Steven Hellmann and Gloria Czomko, founders of Foodies on Foot, are hosting their second food tour of the year this Sunday. According to the event website, participants will ride the 501 streetcar for approximately 24.8 kilometres during the tour. The excursion will feature six stops, where food lovers will get the chance to sample tastes from some of Queen Street’s most diverse ethnic cultures.

The tour is to begin at 11 a.m., departing from 1730 Queen St. W. It is expected to last approximately four hours.
