Doug Ford to address Rob Ford’s withdrawal from mayoral race

Doug Ford will speak to media in front of his mother's home

Doug Ford is to speak to the media on Friday at 7 p.m., the day the day of the announcement that his brother, Mayor Rob Ford, is withdrawing from the mayoral race.

Doug Ford will update the public on his brother’s future in front of their mother’s home at 15 Weston Wood Rd. in Etobicoke.

Before talking to the press, Doug Ford will visit his brother at Mount Sinai hospital, where Ford has stayed since Wednesday after complaining of abdominal pain.

Doctors have reported a tumour was found in his stomach, but its nature is yet to be determined.
