Investigations of Queen streetcar sexual assault continue

No sign of the man suspected of sexually assaulting a woman in June

Police are planning to release surveillance camera footage of an ongoing investigation, as they search for the man who sexually assaulted a women onboard the 501 Queen streetcar on Jun. 26, 2014.

Police say that the woman boarded the streetcar at Queen Street West and Niagara. The man then sat down next to her and proceeded to sexually assaulted her.

He exited the streetcar at Sherborne Street and Queen Street East.

The suspect is identified as a large built man in his 40’s, with dark skin, a shaved head, and a noticeably broken nose. He speaks with a Spanish accent and was last seen wearing a black hat, white t-shirt and khaki-coloured shorts.
