Toronto Police continue to search for men snatching purses

Five women had their purses stolen from them in the same Toronto neighbourhood

Toronto Police have released surveillance images of the men they believe are stealing women's purses in the Spadina Ave. and Queen St. W. area Toronto Police

Toronto Police are warning the public about men snatching women’s purses near Spadina Ave. and Queen St. W.

On Oct. 20, a 51-year-old woman was walking on Cameron St. when she had her purse stolen.

A man was seen fleeing towards Vanauley Walk. He is described as black, with light skin and in his 20’s. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants at the time.

This is the fifth time a woman has had her purse grabbed in this area in the last few days.

women had their purses grabbed by the same individuals.

Three of the incidents happened on Cameron St. and one happened on Vanauley St.

Police believe there is more than one individual involved and have released surveillance images.
