San-Fransisco based black-metal band Deafheaven plans to play a free show at Toronto’s Adelaide Music Hall on Nov. 21.
This date will be the last in a series of five free shows across North America, as part of the second Converse Rubber Tracks Live tour.
Deafheaven has become one of the most talked about acts in both the heavy-metal and indie music scenes, praised for their unique use of post-rock influence and melodic, yet abrasive songwriting.
Having toured multiple continents, the band grabbed the attention of top music critics last year, releasing the highest rated album of 2013, Sunbather.
The band was mentioned in the keynote of Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPod Touch series.
