The Toronto Raptors won their fifth straight game Monday night, beating the Phoenix Suns 104-100 at the ACC.

Jonas Valanciunas led the way with 27 points and 11 boards while DeMar DeRozan chipped in with 24 points of his own. Lou Williams, the recently awarded Eastern Conference player of the week added 17 points off the bench.

After building up a 17 point lead late in the third quarter, the surging Suns went on a fourth quarter run that saw the teams tied with just under a minute to play.

Eric Bledsoe led the Suns with 25 points and Isaiah Thomas scored 12 of his 16 in the fourth quarter but the resilient Raptors were able to hold on. Demar DeRozan nailed all four of his three-throw attempts late in the game to seal the win and give the Raptors a league-tying record of 12-2.

Toronto will try to go for six straight wins against the Hawks in Atalanta on Wednesday night.
