Drug could be dangerous in large doses, police warn

Toronto police have put out a safety alert on about 400 Adderall pills stolen from a vehicle on Monday at 8:30 pm.

The vehicle was parking near Yonge and Carlton streets when someone broke in and took a quantity of drugs, police say.

No information on suspects has been released so far.

Adderall is an amphetamine and is considered to be dangerous in large doses, according to police. The pills could be harmful, even fatal, especially to children, if ingested without instructions.
