Two dead, one injured in McDonald’s shooting

Confrontation at Danforth restaurant leaves security guard in hospital

Two men are dead and another injured after a shooting inside McDonald’s on Danforth Avenue near Coxwell Avenue.

The incident took place on Saturday morning at approximately 3 a.m.

Police have identified the victims as Ryan Hind, 39, and Donny Ouimette, 25.

Police say that the injured man is a security guard, but his identity has not yet been revealed.

“There was a violent confrontation in the McDonald’s and we have three people shot, two of them were pronounced dead at the scene and the guard was taken to the hospital,” police media representative Victor Kwong said.

The reason for the incident is still under investigation.

Police are not looking for any further suspects and no charges have yet been laid.
