Target: won’t be missed by some Canadians

The company's first dozen stores to shut down Sunday

Just two short years after Target brought their brand to Canada, the company is shutting down all of its 133 locations. The first wave of closures took effect at the end of business Sunday. However, their liquidation sales prior to the store closures didn’t go as planned. Observer Radio News’ Radhika Bardwaj reports on the first day of Target’s liquidation.

Canadian shoppers at the Richmond Hill target were less than impressed with the sales.
