Several police raids took place on Thursday morning as part of a human trafficking investigation.
The raids were carried out at a cluster of apartment buildings on Chalkfarm Drive near Jane Street.
A number of people were led out of the building in handcuffs.
The news conference regarding the arrests and charges was originally scheduled for April 2 at 10 a.m.
However, because of the search warrants given regarding this case, the conference has been postponed indefinitely.
