York University CIBC Pan Am / Parapan Am Athletics Stadium

Completion target date:
The CIBC Pan Am / Parapan Am Athletics Stadium is already present at York University. It is a fully accessible stadium with a 400-metre track, an infield, a scoreboard, professional broadcast capabilities, athlete change rooms, equipment storage and classroom space.

Budget:
Roughly $45.5 million for the facility

Construction:
Completed July 2014, a year before the games, and has been put to use since.

Use of stadiums for Pan Am Games:
Track and field events, Opening Ceremony.

Legacy:
York University track facility (before and after).

Capacity:
12,500 for the games, 3,000 permanent.

Tickets:
$100 – $350 for the Opening Ceremony (produced by Cirque du Soleil).
$40 – $70 for track and field preliminary sessions.
$40 – $140 for medal sessions.

York University’s Keele Campus; Ian MacDonald Boulevard/Ottawa Road.
