Historical landmarks in the city are becoming re-purposed through revitalization projects

Jilly’s

The infamous strip club in the Riverside neighbourhood has officially closed to become the future Broadview Hotel. Built in the late 1800s in the Riverside district, Jilly’s served as an office building. Streetcar, the company that purchased the property, is looking to revitalize this historic landmark. They are  responsible for several building upgrades in the area and according to their website, “[it will be a] cornerstone project of the revitalization of the East.”
