Just for Toronto

JFL42 is about to descend on the city.

The City of Toronto is about to have another laugh … and no, Rob Ford has nothing to do with it.

Just for Laughs starts on Sept, 24 and will run for 10 days, ending on October 3.

The biggest name on the list of headliners is Trevor Noah. The South African comedian who will be replacing Jon Stewart on The Daily Show.

Noah will be joined by a few other current and former Daily Show members, as Al Madrigal and John Hodgman will also be performing.

The headliners will be appearing on various dates at the Sony Centre, but it would be a mistake to think all the action will be happening down on Front Street.

Many of the cities top venues and comedy clubs will be hosting events and shows from the Queen Elizabeth Theatre at Exhibition Place and Absolute Comedy at Yonge St. and Eglinton Ave.

The VIP package will set comedy-goers back $299, but allows the buyer to see five headliners, as well 12 reservations for other acts. If that price makes you cry rather than laugh, the more basic package is only $69, however that only allows access to see one headliner with two reservations for other acts.
