Man sought in Scarborough sexual assault

Forced his way into woman's room, police say

Toronto Police are searching for a man after a woman was allegedly sexually assaulted in the Kingston and Galloway roads area on Saturday.

Const. David Hopkinson said the incident took place at 4:30 a.m. when the 52-year-old woman answered a knock at her door. Upon answering, the male forced his way in to her room and allegedly sexually assaulted her.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction on foot. He is described as an unshaved male in his 30s, with dark hair, eyes and complexion. He has a thin build and stands somewhere between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9.

Const. Hopkinson said the man was last seen wearing dark clothing and a dark spring jacket.
