Boy surrenders to police after stabbing

Faces attempted murder charge

A 17-year-old boy has surrendered to police in connection with a stabbing.

The incident took place on the morning of Sept. 23 at Toronto’s George S. Henry Academy on Graydon Hall Drive .The boy surrendered to police later that afternoon. The victim is a 16-year-old boy.

The 17-year-old faces a total of five charges, including attempted murder.

He was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 24 and could not be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
