Missing man sought after Victoria Park carjacking

Two incidents linked, police confirm

A missing Toronto man has been linked to a carjacking in Toronto’s east end.

Police reported a carjacking, involving a black Land Rover, at Victoria Park and Sunrise avenues late yesterday afternoon.

A few hours later police released a missing person bulletin for Cam Tieu, 37, who was last seen in a black Land Rover four blocks from where the carjacking took place, at Victoria Park and Galbriath avenues.

The two incidents were originally reported as being separate, but police have confirmed to Toronto Observer the two incidents are connected.

Police say they are concerned for the missing man’s safety. Anyone with information is being asked to contact police 416-808-5400, or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
