No need to bring out the scarves and parkas this week as summer does not want to go away here in Toronto. So let’s enjoy this while we can. According to Environment Canada the average temperature in November sits around 8C and temperatures this week will soar to 20C. There will be plenty on sunshine on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures reaching around 19C. Temperatures are expected to hit a high of 18C on Friday and there may be a chance of rain. Temperatures are expected to cool off to seasonal averages over the weekend, a high of 9C on both days. Here are some things you can do during the week to take advantage of the unseasonably warm days ahead. Enjoy the patios: It’s patio season again for the next couple of days. Go visit your favorite bar or restaurant and have a drink and enjoy the weather. The next time you’ll probably have a chance to do this is next year.

Exercise outside: Change your boring workout routine by taking it outside. Check out some of the paths the City of Toronto has to offer on your bike or go for a run. If exercise is not your thing, head out for a walk and soak up the rays. It’s also great weather for pets to enjoy.

Have fun like it’s summer: It’s November in Toronto and we rarely have an opportunity to have heat like this, so take advantage of it. Go to a park and read a book or plan a picnic. If you’re like Geoff Macbride, why not head down to the beach.
