Toronto man charged with Ontario break-in spree

17 counts of breaking and entering laid by York Regional Police

A Toronto man has been charged in 17 breaking and entering cases across Southern Ontario.

York Regional Police arrested Ramaz Mindorashvili, 30, on Oct. 29.

The incidents happened in October and November 2014. All charges occurred within Ontario, mostly in homes located in the Guelph, York, Waterloo, Durham areas.

Police say that Mindorashvili had an arrest warrant in December 2014 on another break and enter charge that happened in November in Aurora. However, the accused was out of the country and therefore, police could not make an arrest. The accused was eventually taken into custody at Pearson International Airport upon his return on April 20.

Ramaz Mindorashvili is expected to appear in court on Dec. 1.
