The Toronto Zoo finally has a name for its new polar bear cub. Fourteen-week-old Juno was revealed to the media on Thursday morning during a naming event. The female cub was able to roam around briefly in her maternity area and outside den.

Juno was one of the twin cubs born on Nov. 11 of last year. Unfortunately, her sibling died the next day.
The cub made headlines earlier this month after a viral video surfaced of her first encounter with the snow.
The name comes from Juno Beach, site of the allied invasion in June 1944. The name is an ode to the Canadian Armed Forces.
Members of the force were on hand at the event to introduce Juno.

The cub is to be available for public viewing at the zoo on Saturday. Juno’s debut happens to fall on International Polar Bear Day.
