Two drivers suffered only minor injuries despite one car flipping upside down after a two-vehicle collision at the corner of Brimley Road and Eglinton Avenue East on Monday.

One vehicle struck a pole, causing the accident. Another vehicle then T-boned the first car, causing it to flip upside down.

“Surprisingly there were no serious injuries,” Const. Allyson Douglas-Cook said.

Toronto Police received it first of many call about the Scarborough accidentat 2:06 p.m.

A small crowd gathered on the corner watching the tow truck and police clear the wreckage.

Toronto Police tweeted when the accident was first reported and again after about an hour when the intersection reopened.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
