Man charged after woman assaulted, robbed at ATM

A man was arrested on charges of robbery and assault on Jan. 18, two days after an incident near Kensington Avenue and St. Andrew Street.

A 23-year-old woman was approached by a man at an ATM on Jan. 16. She was robbed and thrown on the ground as the man fled the scene, police say.

Police released a description and a security camera image of the man after the Jan. 16 incident.

Joseph Mauger, 32, faces three charges of robbery, assault, and failure to comply.

He was to appear in court on Jan. 18.
