Man arrested for child exploitation, two years after incident

Toronto man, 37, faces five charges, including sexual assault

A 37-year-old man has been arrested with charges related to child exploitation, two years after the alleged incident.

The accused faces five charges, including luring a child and making sexually explicit material available to child.

Police executed a search warrant on Jan. 24 in the Victoria Park Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East area.

In January 2016, a Toronto man allegedly sexually assaulted a child he met on the Internet. The assault continued for a number of months. The man, who sent the child explicit images, communicated with other minors online, police say.
