1994 world championship ring is among items stolen from a downtown shop.. Toronto Police

Toronto police are looking for a man after a break and enter at the Spirit of Hockey store near Yonge and Front streets on Sunday.

Investigators say a man entered a storage closet at the store, leading to the display case, around 12:30 p.m.

The display case had hockey memorabilia that was donated to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Stolen were a 1993 junior world championship ring and a 1994 world championship ring.

After the heist the perpetrator fled in a U-Haul van, police say.

The man is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35, to be 5-foot-10 to six feet tall , and to have with dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue winter jacket, a grey hoodie and jogging pants, and a grey toque.
